Nice Cream – the perfect healthy snack

Have you heard of nice cream already?

Nice Cream is an amazing way to spice up your morning routine and to use up some fruits, which might go bad otherwise. It’s the perfect way to start into the new day with a super healthy treat, specially in the summer!

The most wonderful thing about Nice cream is, that you do not need any additional sugar and it still tastes likes ice cream!! Since you’re using frozen banana for this, the banana will take care of this- for you. It will add natural sweetness and also adds a wonderful creamy texture!

Usually I start my work days with overnight oats (oats combined with almond milk and chia seeds, which I prepare the night before). For some days I need to treat myself a little extra and then I am preparing this delicious and yet healthy breakfast for myself. Honestly, what could be better than starting a day with a breakfast that tastes like ice cream!

If you haven’t tried it yet. It’s about time!

RECIPE

Take a good blender and add the following ingredients:

1 frozen banana

3 Tablespoons of oats (these are optional- but I always add these, since the oats turn it into a whole meal )

100-150 grams of berries

100-150 ml of plantbased milk, I usually use almond milk.

Mix everything and pour it into a bowl or a nice glas (400 ml). Now you can still top the nice cream with all kinds of deliciousness: more fruits, your favorite granola or whatever else you can imagine as a good combination for the nice cream.

Now enjoy and have a wonderful start into the day!
