About me

Hey, my name is Sue and I work as project manager throughout the day. I simply love baking at night – or whenever my family lets me. 😉

My family includes my husband, to whom I have been married for twelve years, now, and my two sweet girls. The girls are 11 and 8 and love to help me decorate my bakes or simply taste test, what I have created. Kids are very honest!!! So these are actually the best taste-testers, ever! My older daugther Jo loves to read and to write stories of her won and our youngest daughter Charly just entered elementary school and starts to read. It’s the cutest thing.

I have baked and cooked since I have been 15. My mom always had a freshly cooked meal on the stove and on Sundays, there was always homemade cake, my brothers (three older brothers!!!) and I had to fight over.

Even though I cook a lot – twice a day – baking is my real passion. It’s absolutely lovely to mix, knead and add lovely smelling ingredients (I am a vanillaa-addict), which transform into something utterly delicious and create happiness -instantly – in every bite.

This is the reason, why I started this blog, to share these recipes with you, which will create happiness in every bite for you. I hope they will.
